A large size bowl from a Fujian kiln, Southern Song, 13th C. High fired it has a clear ping when tapped. Inside there’s a rather simple decoration of incised clouds. Condition: there’s a glaze/firing fault near the rim with an associated hardly noticable 8mm hairline. Imperfections to the glaze partly caused by kiln grit. No damage or restorations. Diameter 18,5cm height 7cm. Comes with a custom made display box.
