A thinly potted fine example of a Bronze Age Xindian Culture jar. Gansu-Qinghai province, 1200-500 BC. Geometric decoration in red and black fired pigments. There's a flake missing from a side as visible on the pictures. Near the base there's a black burned area that shows stress cracks from firing. Combed-like lines show the making proces. A good example in fine condition. Height 15,5cm.
