Coffer with three drawers, Shanxi province, Qianlong period – second half 18th century. Elm with a dark aged finishing layer. Apart from some minor old dammage to the ornaments and the replacement of a back spandrel this piece of furniture is in an almost perfect original condition. Nice smokey patina. Buffed.
