A selection of stools from various regions. Every region has it's own specific models. The round three-legged one at the right is typical for Shanxi province (northern elm, height aprox. 50 cm). The one in the front has for centuries been a standard model in the Jiangsu province area (southern elm, height aprox. 32 cm). The pine stool at the left is a more common model (height 52 cm).
